"Broken Windows" Opening reception this Friday night, June 5th from 6-11 at "The Union" 738 Sante Fe Drive. "Broken Windows" will showcase a new installation from Like Minded Productions featuring Jonathan Lamb, Mike Ortiz, Ian Millard and collaborating for the first time is Erin Fullam and Jon Heenan. Andenken Gallery is pleased to present the No Anunciar! group show. Opening reception starts at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 3rd and will run through the 26th. The show will feature new works from local and international artists. Three local artists, Ian Millard, Mike Ortiz and Jon Lamb, are constructing an installation that will definitely be the focal point of the show. The installation mixes black and white digital images of Denver adorned with original, handmade art which gives the city the color it deserves. This is not the first time this art trio has blended their personalities to come up with a unique show that showcases their street influenced style, if you were at the "Still Thinking" show at The Union in December of 08 you will definitely be happy to see the evolution of their collaborative efforts. Limited edition prints and original pieces will be on sale from this art trio as well as pieces from Amanda Marie, Bast, Samual Lowder, Max Kauffman and more. We just got back from Vegas where we saw the prints we did for the Icelantic Skis tradeshow show booth. We printed the Four foot by Eight Foot prints on adhesive backed vinyl, then mounted them to boards. We think the color matching and detail came out excellent. Compare the color printed on the skis, to the color on the prints. Check them out!
